about

Graphic design for multicultural audiences.

I’m Gabriel Covarrubias, a Sydney-based creative graphic designer currently working at Cultural Perspectives. I create thoughtful visual systems that help organisations, communities and ideas communicate clearly.

Before Cultural Perspectives, I worked at MultiConnexions Group, Times Education Group Australia and IECL by GrowthOps. My practice moves between visual identity, logo design, editorial and print, websites, digital campaigns, photography, film and animation, and social content.

Originally from Mexico City, I have also lived and studied in Xi’an, China, before making Sydney home. That cross-cultural experience, together with fluency in English, Mandarin and Spanish, shapes how I approach language, audiences and visual communication.
